This weekend Dawson competed in NYSSMA (New York State School Music Association). He was very nervous. In fact the day before at his piano lesson he forgot a section of his piece and couldn't get it right. He teacher was getting frustrated with him. He has been practicing this piece since September. Friday he stepped up and did wonderful. He received a 27 out of 28, which is an outstanding. We are very proud of him.

Dawson, it is so awsome that you are enjoying your music --you have a super, duper piano, also---. Wow, you did well at your your performance. The whole family is proud that you are doing well. Sometimes it is inconvenient to practice, but you will be pleased when you are skilled enough to play in church, and on your mission. Keep going!!!!!
