Christmas Eve Part 1

We started out Christmas Eve morning making Ginger Bread Houses. Our friends the Pulvers had invited to join them in their family tradition. Building started our great but then the Gingerbread started collapsing. Santa fell through the roof, walls fell down, but the kids had fun and that's what matters.

The houses that actually made it.(Craig helped with both the houses that actually stayed standing.)

Declan's having fun.

Elijah's house falls down.

Dalton finished project and then Santa falls through the roof.

After falling houses they combine to make a pile of goo!

Even if they all didn't stay up it looks like everyone had a good time building them. They look like homemade gingerbread not like one of those kits. I am impressed--did you cook all that gingerbread Gretchen?

Glad that Craig's gingerbread houses stayed up. After all, that is his profession...
What fun and happy memories..

I blew up the pictures and they looked awesome! This was on my to do list this year, but it was not accomplished... maybe next year when the girls will enjoy it more. (nice excuse huh?) And that is funny that the Santa fell through the house, he was such a cute Santa too. Go Craig,, of course!

Awesome! Santa falling in the roof was the ultimate, boys love that kind of thing. I bought a kit this year to do with the boys and just couldn't get around to getting it done. Next year--it's packed away now in the Christmas stuff.
