American Education Week had me in all the kids classes, having lunch with the kids and just spending time at the school. In Dawson's class the parents got to watch the Crayfish races. They had been taking care and learning about Crayfish for the last couple of months. Dawson and Luke's Crayfish was named Humphrey, but nicknamed Pincer. Pincer was eliminated from the race in the first round. Dawson said he shouldn't have because it was a tie. The drama of Crayfish races.

Cool! I have never heard of crayfish races before so how fun for the students. How fun for you to get to spend time at school.
Good times at the school,,, but,,, um,, no thank you very much. I do not like little things with pincers on them with the ability to cause me pain. Sick!
That's the coolest things I've ever heard. That just looks so fun for the kids. What an awesome teacher to do that. We have crayfish in our creek in the front yard that the kids catch. Next time we get a few we will have to try the races.
